Welcome to CallWhiz AI
CallWhiz AI is a voice AI platform that lets you create intelligent agents capable of making and receiving phone calls. Your agents can handle customer inquiries, qualify leads, book appointments, and much more.

Creating an Agent
Agents are the core of CallWhiz AI. Each agent is configured to handle specific types of conversations.

Click Create Agent
From the dashboard or My Agents page, click the "Create Agent" button to start.
Set Basic Information
Configure your agent's profile:
- Agent Name - A descriptive name for your agent
- Communication Type - Choose Inbound (receives calls) or Outbound (makes calls)
- Category - Organize agents by purpose (Sales, Support, etc.)
Configure Voice Settings
Choose how your agent sounds:
- Language - Select from 30+ supported languages
- Accent - Choose regional accent variations
- Voice - Pick from available voices or use a cloned voice
- Voice Speed - Adjust how fast your agent speaks
Write Your Prompts
Define how your agent behaves in the Conversation Flow section (see next section).
Configure Optional Settings
Fine-tune your agent with these optional features:
- Background Noise Removal - Filter out ambient noise during calls
- Guardrails - Keep your agent focused on approved topics
Publish Your Agent
Click the "Publish Agent" button to save your configuration. Your agent is now ready to use!
Voice Cloning
Conversation Flow
The Conversation Flow section controls how your agent interacts with callers. It has four tabs:
Prompts
- Welcome Prompt: The first message your agent says when the call starts
- System Prompt: Instructions that define your agent's behavior, personality, and knowledge
Handoff
Configure when and how to transfer calls to human agents or other destinations. Set conditions for escalation.
Voice
Fine-tune voice settings including language, accent, voice selection, speed, and AI model. Preview voices before saving.
Tools
Connect webhooks and knowledge sources. Your agent can trigger external actions and access your project knowledge base.
Multi-Stage Agents
For complex conversations, enable Multi-Stage mode. This lets you create different conversation stages with unique prompts and behaviors. Define conditions for when to move between stages.

Webhooks & Automation
Connect your agents to external systems using webhooks. Trigger actions before or after calls.
Pre-Call Webhook
Triggered before a call starts. Use it to:
- • Fetch caller information from your CRM
- • Check caller eligibility
- • Load personalized data
Post-Call Webhook
Triggered after a call ends. Use it to:
- • Save call summary to your database
- • Update lead status in your CRM
- • Trigger follow-up actions
Testing Your Agent
Always test your agent before using it with real customers.
How to Test
- 1Publish your agent with all configurations saved
- 2Click the "Call Assistant" button (phone icon) in the bottom right
- 3Enter your phone number and click "Call Now"
- 4Answer the call and test different conversation scenarios

Phone Numbers
To receive inbound calls, you need to purchase a phone number. CallWhiz AI offers phone numbers in 15+ countries with flexible channel options.
How to Get a Phone Number
- 1Navigate to Phone Numbers from the sidebar
- 2Click "Buy Your First Number" or "Buy Additional Number"
- 3Select your country and number of channels (concurrent call capacity)
- 4Review pricing and complete payment
- 5Your number will be provisioned and ready to use

What Are Channels?
Channels determine how many calls your number can handle at the same time.
- • 1 channel = 1 concurrent call
- • 1 free channel included
- • Add more channels as needed
Managing Subscriptions
Phone numbers are billed monthly. From the Phone Numbers page you can:
- • View all your active phone numbers
- • Check billing dates and amounts
- • View billing history
- • Manage subscription status
Inbound Routing
Once you have a phone number, assign it to an inbound agent so your AI can answer calls on that number.
Create an Inbound Agent
First, create an agent with Communication Type set to Inbound. This agent will handle incoming calls.
Go to Inbound Routing
Navigate to Inbound Routing from the sidebar. You'll see all your purchased phone numbers.
Assign Number to Agent
Click "Assign" next to an unassigned number, then select which inbound agent should answer calls on that number.
Start Receiving Calls
Once assigned, your agent will automatically answer calls made to that phone number.

- • Assigned: Number is routing to an agent
- • Unassigned: Number is not active

Managing Leads
The Leads section is your contact management hub. Store and organize all your leads and contacts.

Adding Leads
Add Manually
Click "Add Lead" and fill in the contact details.
Import CSV/Excel
Bulk import leads from a spreadsheet file.
Outbound Campaigns
Campaigns let you make automated calls to multiple leads using your AI agents.

Create a Campaign
Go to Campaigns and click "New Campaign". Give your campaign a descriptive name.
Select an Agent
Choose which AI agent will handle the calls. Make sure your agent is configured for outbound calls.
Choose Your Leads
Select which leads to include in the campaign. You can filter by tags or status.
Configure & Launch
Set your campaign schedule and preferences, then activate it. Monitor progress in real-time.
Campaign Monitoring
Track your campaign's performance:
- • Status: Active, Paused, Completed
- • Progress: Calls completed vs. total
- • Results: Connection rates and outcomes

Go to Integrations in the sidebar to connect your accounts. OAuth integrations connect securely with a single click.
Credits & Billing
CallWhiz AI uses a credit-based system. Credits are consumed based on call duration and the AI model you use.
How Credits Work
- Credits are consumed per minute of call time
- Different AI models have different credit costs (shown in Voice tab)
- Failed or unanswered calls don't consume credits
Check your credit balance on the dashboard. Top up credits from your profile or subscription settings.
