# Connecting CallWhiz AI to your phone lines over SIP

CallWhiz AI agents run on your existing telephony over SIP, so nothing is replaced and you keep your numbers, carrier and rates. Routing is per number, so one account can run different agents on different lines.

**In short:** Agents connect to the telephony you already have, over SIP. No replacement of your phone system.
